Transitioning dogs to Raw can prove difficult but not impossible!
Here’s a list of Tips and Tricks that have been proven helpful.
•    Keep your Raw food at room temperature when feeding to your dog, they prefer this over cold/frozen.
•    Some dogs love wet mixtures, more blood and broth mixes! You could also add Earthz Pet Dog Gravy to their food.
•    We have Doggy Daily and a range of other supplements available in store and online to use in your dog’s food to ensure they are getting the right proteins and vitamins needed.
•    We know dogs can be fussy! Some don’t like game meat, some do. We have a variety of meats for your dog to try. 2-3 different species per week will keep your dog interested in their food.
•    Chunks, Bones and diced are good for oral health, so be sure to incorporate this into a third of their diet.
•    Dried treats are also beneficial to their overall health.
•    A balanced raw diet includes meat, bones, organs, and green tripe.
•    Dogs can be fed twice a day, they should be fed 2-3% of their body weight per day.
•    Feeding raw has high water content, so don’t be worried if they don’t drink much!
•    Bowel movements will be small, firm and less smelly.

DE Powder- Give approximately 1tsp for small cats and 1 TBS for larger cats daily for 1 month mixed into their wet food. Avoid breathing in the fine dust when dispensing the DE. Store in a cool dry place.
